WHAT: Beautiful You Christmas Tea @ The Willard
WHEN: Saturday, December 3rd, 12:30-3:30pm
Beautiful You is hosting its 11th annual Christmas Tea and is excited to announce that this year's guest speaker will be Christine Caine, founder of the A21 Campaign and a passionate anti-human trafficking activist. The Beautiful You Christmas Tea has become a favorite Christmas tradition, filled with special treats, laughter, fun and connecting with old and new friends alike! Beautiful You and the Be the Love Campaign are partnering together this year to raise awareness and funds for the work of the A21 Campaign. While the Tea is not a fundraising event, there are opportunities leading up to the event where you can provide support to survivors of human trafficking through the A21 Campaign. One way that you can support is by becoming a sponsor or by approaching potential sponsors. You can find out more information about that here. WHAT: Help Portrait @ Strive DC - 715 I Street Northeast (map)

The Be the Love team is partnering with Help Portrait and Strive DC for a very special opportunity this holiday season. We’re putting on a day where we’re going to give professional portraits to people who typically cannot afford them. The idea is to show someone the beauty of who they are through the power of a professional photograph. There are a number of ways that you can volunteer: set-up/tear-down (this will occur on the evenings of the 8th and 9th), food, decor, and simply people to connect with people.
